Bookish Things I’m Thankful For This Thanksgiving

Despite all the things that I’ve gone through this year, I feel like I have so much to be grateful for. I have a supportive family, amazing friends, go to my dream school, and am a part of an fantastic bookish community. So, here are just a few bookish things that I’m grateful for this Thanksgiving.

The Bookish Community

This is by far the thing that I’m the most thankful for. I’ve been through some pretty shitty stuff within the last year or so, and this wonderful community has gotten me through the worst of it. I’ve gotten to know so many amazing, diverse, kind people, and I’m so grateful for every single conversation and exchange I’ve had with them.

My love for reading

Without my love of reading, I wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t be experiencing amazing stories and getting to know so many fantastic people. I’m eternally grateful for the fact that reading is one of my favorite things to do.

Sarah J. Maas

This summer and fall, I’ve binged through so many of her books. I’ve gotten lost in her stories and fallen in love with her characters. She is a phenomenal writer, and I’m so happy that I’ve been exposed to her books.

Book unboxings on YouTube and Instagram

I binge on these videos ALL. THE. TIME. I love watching people open things they’ve bought, received from publishers, or been sent. It’s honestly weirdly relaxing.

BOOKSTAGRAM

I love looking at beautiful pictures of beautiful books. Here are some of my favorites:

Diverse YA books

I loooooovvvvvveee diverse YA books. While I haven’t read as many as I want to this year, I definitely appreciate all diverse YA books out there.

This genre helps me escape from everything that goes on in my life.

What are you thankful for?
